RE: Wireless headphones any good????

I have two sets, one for normal tv/movie listening and one for the same reason you want one. I have an earlier version of the Sony MDRDS3000 for normal use, it has excellent stereo sound reproduction and works very well. The other set for use on the bike and rower is the Sony MDRIF240RK. I like it for this use because the ear phones are open and it doesn't get so hot. Both work very well but the over-the-ear ones have the better sound quality and are more comfortable for extended use.
Hope this helps.

RE: Now I see why

Been in a Mercedes shop, BMW shop, Jaguar shop, or Porsche shop recently? These have price tags as much or more, and seem to be doing okay. The prices may not be the main problem.

RE: Ever get shafted on eBay?

Chalk it up to experience, hardly worth considering the guy a "scumbag".
Check with Ebay, they may let you repost it since the guy didn't follow through.

RE: Best for storing photos?

What happens when these sites go belly-up with no warning? I don't think I would rely on "the cloud" as my only backup strategy.

RE: Best for storing photos?

Using only an external hard drive for back up is no different than using an internal one as far as reliability is concerned: any hard drive can crash at any time.

RE: Garmin GPS Upgrade

Yes, I download routes from Mapsource to my Nuvi 750 and that was a real selling point for me.

RE: Best for storing photos?

OK, for those of us that do not have a external HD, which is better? CD or the memory card?
CD or DVD. Once it's done it's done. You don't have to worry about corrupted files or loss of data. And memory cards can go bad, doesn't happen often, but if I were wanting to safely store data I would go with CD's or DVD's.

RE: Refunds on Plastic~Not Very Timely

I don't use debit cards but when I've used my credit card to cover equipment rental of some kind, the credit for the damage deposit shows up the next day after they credit it back.
If you're using a debit card I would suggest you talk to your bank about the excessive wait. Maybe they can do something about it.

RE: problems with Adobe Flash Player

Ah good idea. Did the uninstall and reinstall but no luck. From BofA site:
You are currently running Flash player version 1.NaN.
Flash player version 6.40 or later
is required to display this component properly.
Please go to http://www.macromedia.com and
download the latest player.
Adobe says the problem is the site not reading your version of AFP correctly as explained here:
Site not showing ADF Player correct version.

RE: problems with Adobe Flash Player

Go to the Adobe site and check which version you have: Version check . If you have the old version use their Uninstaller to remove AFP and then install the new one.
I've had to go through this on several computers, including my own.Problem is it reports the latest version WIN 10,0,12,36 and yet BofA is reporting a 6.1.Nan version. Houston, someone has a problem!
Dave
If it were me I would uninstall using the Adobe uninstaller program and then reinstall. It's possible that the browser plug-in is not the latest which is why it shows up on BoA site as the wrong one. The Adobe uninstaller will remove all iterations of the AFP.
Good luck.

RE: Looking for a Link

Here's some info on the amateurs who produced the film:
"The film took three and a half months to make. The real footage, consisting of the actors in still vehicles, was shot in one weekend with an hour of pick-ups later. The post production and visual effects were completed later on by the two filmmakers in their spare time. All of the shots outside of the Jeep are entirely computer generated three dimensional models. The actors were shot in vehicles similar to the ones in the film but the exterior shots of the vehicles, the jet, the highway and background scenery in the film are composed of composited images from still photographs and video applied to three dimensional models created in computer modeling software. About 50% of the shots in the interior of the Jeep are digital effects.
The camera used to make the film was a Canon Optura, a type of digital video camera. The effects were done on a Pentium II and Pentium III computer."

Who cares? Much to do over very little.
FWIW Yahoo has been actively doing this type of "tracking" for many years. Nothing new here. No biggie.

RE: Scrolling Issues, Windows XP/Up-Dated

Do not use Windows Update to update drivers!!
Find the proper drivers by going to the website: either the computer manufacturer or the video card manufacturer.

RE: windows task manager

Sounds like you have some spyware/malware that has disabled Task Manager. A very common occurrence when you've been infected. I would run a series of cleaner/detectors posthaste.

You need to update your video card driver. Randy
Yep, that's the cure. Sounds like you're using Windows' default settings.
